To celebrate Earth Month this year we wanted to share a very Earthy Blog with you, highlighting some of our favorite milestones and updates of 2024 so far. 

Madison Square Garden Deal:

In late February, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. went public with our partnership, announcing the three-year deal we’ve struck with the World’s Most Famous Arena. Earth Brands products, especially our recyclable cups and lids, will be used throughout the Garden on a regular basis, displacing their typical plastic cups.

Notpla x EC Containers:

We’ve teamed up with Notpla to bring their proprietary food containers to the United States! Unlike traditional containers, these Notpla x EC containers are lined with a seaweed-based lining – opposed to a plastic or wax – that makes them 100% recyclable and home compostable. And their innovative lining protects the integrity of the product (no more soggy paper and no cheap, greasy feel!).

Mardi Gras, Round 2:

This February marked our second year at Mardi Gras on a big scale. We supplied over 30,000 limited-edition Mardi Gras Earth Cups to various college student groups and individuals – each 100% recyclable – helping make the special event a little greener.  

Earth Madness & Brown University’s Bar Tab Event:

One of our favorite annual traditions is our Earth Madness bracket challenge, where colleges vote on our Instagram to advance their school for a chance to win prizes. This year, we had prizes for the top 3 schools… and Brown University won for a second time! As champion, they claimed a $3,000 bar tab last weekend along with party packs for every Greek life organization signed up as an ECA member

Erin Thumann Earth Day Event:

This Earth Day, we teamed up with Point Break Coffee in Charleston to offer an exclusive, eco-friendly celebration! Customers enjoyed limited-edition Earth Day specials, all served in our recyclable Earth Cups. We also offered an exclusive peek at our new merch line… dropping soon! We had a blast celebrating the best day of the year and reaching new folks with our mission!
